Brief
Design an appropriate annual report for the State Library Victoria. It must have a proper layout and a cohesive theme. The text needs to be legible and all imagery must be created by the designer. The images can be illustrative, geometric, photographic, or a mix, but they must all be by the designer, no stock imagery is permitted.
Solution
After some initial research and a site visit to the library I decided in the theme community. I wanted to highlight the importance of the library as a central pillar of the community it serves. I used bright colours and hand drawn illustrations to make the report feel more human and highlight the diversity of information and services the library provides as well as the wide range of different people in the vibrant community in which it is located.
